The NFID Wallet token registry

image

Why does it exist

Every ecosystem needs to know about the tokens that exist within it so that knowledge of those tokens’ existence can be ubiquitously distributed.

The different token registries

Chain Fusion registry

When DFINITY creates another “ck” token, it is automatically added to this registry.

SNS registry

Tokens that are managed by SNS DAOs are automatically added to this registry.

Community registry

When users import a token to NFID Wallet, that token is added to the “community-added” registry.

Trusted registry

When a token is voted to be trusted by the community, it’s removed from the “community-added” registry and added to the “trusted” registry.

Spam registry

When a token is voted to be spam by the community, it’s removed from the “community-added” registry and added to the “spam” registry.
